this is awesome picture of daddy and baby girl meeting for the first time...i personal am glad to postive pictures from the war...there are too many pictures of the war that show sad images and many families that have been torn apart...i think people need to keep their negative thoughts to them selves

This is a beautiful picture I believe the theme was Welcome Home picturesThis is the couples 1st baby and if they didn't extend this deployment to 15 months just weeks before they where due home...he would not have missed the birth of his first child.I was there and it was a very special emotional moment for all of us who went through the whole pregnancy with Penny and the birth of this beautiful little girl Serenity. During this time We lost 4 Soldiers and had many more seriously injured.The Welcome Home was bittersweet and I think this picture is amazing

I like this picture. It shows what the families in the army go through. The soldiers work hard for our freedom but the families work hard to keep life together for them to come home to. GREAT picture

LOVES THIS PIC AND FOR THE STUPID COMMENT THE ARMY IS NOT JUST ABOUT WAR.THERE IS A LOT OF OTHER ASPECTS TO MILITARY LIFE. FAMILY IS ONE MAJOR FACTOR. THIS CONTEST IS MORE ABOUT CANDID PICTURES THAT JUST HAPPEN TO BE AT THE RIGHT TIME.

The picture itslef sucks the view is all wrong and its really not a calander photo or pog photo its a nice concept the whole meeting dad for the first time but i think ppl want to see actual war pictures these days
