Description: More than 200 men and women of all ages from the local community demonstrated their athletic abilities at the 28th annual Joan Mann Special Sports Day on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009.
The day began with a traditional Olympic-style parade of athletes complete with torch and bagpipe procession leader and ended with an awards ceremony. Events of the day included basketball, Frisbee and football tosses, bowling, a tennis ball bounce, and obstacle course and wheelchair slalom.
