Description: IS2 Derek Miles, an intelligence specialist with the U.S. Navy’s Seventh Fleet, Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan, and SH3 (SW) Amanda Michelle Rampulla, a ship’s serviceman on the U.S.S. Blue Ridge, Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan, were the lucky winners of the Stars and Stripes 2009 Tokyo BMO Music Fest promotion. Miles and Rampulla attended the event as special VIP backstage guests after winning a promotion in Stars and Stripes. The two sailors were able to meet various celebrities during the event to include Lil Jon, Shaggy, Sean Kingston, Omarion, J. Holiday, TOK and Pitbull. The promotion was co-sponsored by Positive Productions, FOX International Channels (Japan) and Stars and Stripes.
